Hello everyone:
With Opening Day is fast approaching! But its almost time for Tournament Teams! Below is a lot of important information about the season. Please read all the way through so you don’t miss anything!
What’s Next?
UNIFORMS
Uniforms will be delivered to your coaches on Friday. Your coach will let you know when to meet them. (Hats will all be the same, so it is suggested players write their number and/or name inside.)

Please remember that your child birthdate determines their league age as of 5/1/2025.

- Player tryouts for tournament teams will be on Sunday, April 27 at Lunt fields; Here are the tryout times and places:
- 12U Brad Baker LUNT 3 at 4-6PM
- 11U Brian Winslow LUNT 3 at 2-4 PM
- 10U Dave White LUNT 3 at 12-2 PM
- 9U Cody Kingsbury LUNT 2 at 2-4PM
- 8U Corey Lovett LUNT 2 at 9-11 AM
- Information concerning Tournament Teams and an overview will be posted at www.gmlb.org by Monday. If you have any questions after reviewing that information, please email me after Tuesday at gmlbsuhl@gmail.com
- If your player would like to Tryout for a tournament team, it would be helpful if you can RSVP to the appropriate coach above so they get a sense of how many kids will be trying out for there team. There is no cost to Tryout.
REMINDERS:
Opening Day is Saturday April 19. Please note the following:
- Players need to be at the Greenfield Middle School at 9:40 AM for Parade in full uniform.
- All teams will get their photos taken at the Fieldhouse per the below schedule. All teams except majors are after the Opening Day ceremony and before their games. Here is the schedule:
9:00 - Gilmore and Farrell
9:10 – Maniatty Real Estate
9:20 - New Fortune
9:30 - Smitty’s
9:40 - All Players and Coaches at Middle School
10:00 - Parade
10:35 - Ceremony at Lunt 3 (approximate)
11:00 - Sweet Lucy’s
11:10 – Parody Builders
11:20 - Cherry Rum
11:30 - Freedom Credit Union
11:40 - Fitzgerald Real Estate
11:50 - Baker Financial

PLEASE be early for your scheduled picture time and ready to go in full uniform. We cannot wait for late people to take the team photo; the schedule is too tight. Picture order forms will be available next week.
GMLB TEAM STORE
We have an updated team store at the below link. While some of your favorites are there, there are many new items in the store as well. The store is open until Sunday, April 20, so get your orders in soon!

- Additions: polos, women’s clothing, crop tops, flannel pants, extra socks, and a shirt listing all teams on back.
- Perfect for players, families, coaches, sponsors or fans alike.
- The 2025 hat and a GMLB shirt you can personalize with name and number on the back will be added on Monday. (Wait until you get uniform to confirm sock color, jersey number, etc.)
CONCESSIONS/SNACK SHACK
We’re getting ready for an exciting baseball season, and we need your help! We are using SignUp.com to organize volunteer shifts for both the Snack Shack and bathroom cleaning.
Every player is asked to have a family member or guardian sign up for at least two shifts. There are separate time slots for concession stand help and bathroom cleaning—please choose the option that works best for you and your schedule. Sign-up is free through the link below. Sign up for a day your player is playing, or sign up on their off day; whatever works for your schedule.
The Snack Shack is a great way to support the league and connect with other families. KATELYN (or someone else) will be there each night to help open and close!
Bathroom cleaning may not be glamorous, but it’s a very important task to help keep our facilities fresh for everyone.
