Opening Day has been re-scheduled for May 3rd. See reminders about the day’s events and schedule below. All game times and photo times remain the same.

A lot of important information is included in this email. Please read all the way through so you don’t miss anything!

What’s Next?

OPENING DAY MAY 3rd

Please note the following:

  1. Players need to be at the Greenfield Middle School at 9:40 AM for Parade in full uniform (no cleats). Parade starts at 10:00 AM. Ceremony at Lunt 3 at 10:35 AM.

  1. All teams will get their photos taken at the Fieldhouse per the below schedule:

8:45 - Liberty Tax

8:55 - Denny’s

9:05 – Smitty’s

9:15 – Gilmore & Farrell

9:25 - Maniatty Real Estate

9:40 - All Players and Coaches at Middle School

10:00 - Parade

10:35 - Ceremony at Lunt 3 (approximate)

11:10 – Cherry Rum

11:20 – Freedom Credit Union

11:30 - Parody Builders & Sons

11:40 - Gruber & Tripp

11:50 - Ruggeri Real Estate

12:10 – New Fortune

12:20 - Rotary

12:30 - Aubuchon

  1. PLEASE be early for your scheduled picture time and ready to go in full uniform. We cannot wait for late people to take the team photo; the schedule is too tight. Picture order forms will be available later this week and we will have copies available on Opening Day.

  1. Note: Opening Day game times are approximate. Please watch for notices from your team manager whether your game will start earlier or later.

  • Several Coaches have volunteered to be Head Coaches/Managers of our Tournament Teams for 2026. They are:

  • 8U (includes 7 and 6 year olds) - We are still in need of a head coach for 8U.

Please remember that the player’s birthdate determines their league age as of 5/1/2026. If you are not sure about your player’s league age, you can email gmlbsuhl@gmail.com to confirm.

  • Player tryouts for tournament teams will be on Sunday, April 26 at Lunt fields. The tryout locations and times are:

  • 12U Brian Winslow LUNT 3 at 8:00 AM-10:00 AM (Check in at 7:40 AM)
  • 11U Brian Puchalski LUNT 3 at 10:00 AM-12:00 PM (Check in at 9:40 AM)
  • 10U Cody Kingsbury LUNT 2 at 11:00 AM-1:00 PM (Check in at 10:40 AM)
  • 9U Corey Lovett LUNT 2 at 9:00 AM-11:00 AM (Check in at 8:30 AM, Parent Meeting 8:50AM)
  • 8U Coach Needed!!! LUNT 2 at 1:30 PM– 3:30 PM (Check in at 1:10 PM)

  • Information and an overview of Tournament Teams is posted at www.gmlb.org
  • If your player would like to tryout for a Tournament Team, it would be helpful if you can RSVP to the appropriate coach above so they can get a sense of how many kids will be trying out for their team. For 8U, please RSVP to gmlbsuhl@gmail.com.
  • There is no cost or commitment to tryout. Each Coach will provide an overview of their team, expectations, costs, and any details about potential tournaments they would like to do.
  • All players who want to be on a Tournament Team must attend the tryout. If a player cannot make the tryout time posted, please reach out to the specific tournament team manager for information on a second tryout time.
